BANDUNG, TINTAHIJAU.com — Persib Bandung siap mengarungi laga perdana ASEAN Club Championship (Shopee Cup) menghadapi klub wakil Thailand, Port FC, di Bangkok pada Kamis (8/10/2026). Pertandingan ini menjadi ujian berat bagi Pangeran Biru yang berambisi memutus rekor belum pernah menang dalam tiga pertemuan terakhir melawan Port FC.
Penjaga gawang utama Persib, Teja Paku Alam, menegaskan seluruh anggota skuad berada dalam kondisi siap tempur dan optimistis mampu mengamankan poin di kandang lawan.
“Persiapannya pastinya pemain semua siap. Siapa pun yang dimainkan pastinya kita akan selalu support,” ujar Teja, Sabtu (3/10/2026).
Catatan sejarah mencatat Persib dan Port FC telah tiga kali bertemu di panggung resmi. Pada fase grup AFC Champions League Two (ACL 2) 2024/2025, Persib kalah 0-1 di Stadion Si Jalak Harupat pada 19 September 2024 dan bermain imbang 2-2 saat bertandang ke Thailand pada 28 November 2024. Pertemuan terakhir di ajang Piala Presiden pada 6 Juli 2025 kembali berujung kekalahan 0-2 bagi Persib.
