Kabut Asap Karhutla Selimuti Palangka Raya Selama Tiga Bulan, Jalur Penerbangan Bandara Tjilik Riwut Lumpuh – TINTAHIJAU.com
PALANGKA RAYA, TINTAHIJAU.com — Kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla) yang menerjang wilayah Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah, terus berlanjut hingga memasuki bulan ketiga. Bencana ini memicu timbulnya kabut asap pekat yang tidak hanya mengancam kesehatan masyarakat, tetapi juga melumpuhkan aktivitas penerbangan di wilayah tersebut.
Hasil pantauan udara pada Rabu (7/10/2026) sore memperlihatkan Kota Palangka Raya tertutup rapat oleh kabut asap berwarna kekuningan. Pekatnya asap membuat sejumlah landmark kota tersamarkan dan secara drastis mengganggu ruang gerak warga yang beraktivitas di luar rumah.
Selain menurunkan kualitas udara, keterbatasan jarak pandang akibat asap pekat turut mengancam keselamatan pengguna jalan saat berkendara.
Dampak karhutla ini juga memukul sektor transportasi udara secara signifikan. Di Bandara Tjilik Riwut, Palangka Raya, jarak pandang dilaporkan merosot hingga tersisa 200 meter. Situasi berbahaya tersebut memaksa otoritas setempat membatalkan tiga penerbangan demi menjaga keselamatan penumpang.
