JAKARTA, TINTAHIJAU.com — Menteri Keuangan Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa mengklaim efisiensi anggaran Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) terus meningkat berkat perbaikan tata kelola. Evaluasi bersama Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) menunjukkan adanya ruang penghematan tanpa mengurangi kualitas program.
“Cukup signifikan pengurangannya. Yang jelas anggaran kita menjadi lebih aman,” kata Purbaya dalam konferensi pers di Gedung Kementerian Keuangan, Jakarta, Jumat (26/6/2026).
Purbaya menegaskan usulan efisiensi berasal dari BGN. “Saya setuju. Apalagi kalau dipotong lebih banyak lagi. Tapi biar programnya jalan,” ucapnya. Namun, ia enggan memerinci besaran penghematan tersebut. “Itu yang lebih mengerti Kepala BGN. Dia lebih ngerti daripada saya,” ujarnya.
Selain efisiensi, pemerintah memperketat pengawasan operasional Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) di daerah dengan melibatkan jaringan kantor Kementerian Keuangan.
“Kalau begitu ya sudah, yang menguasai daerah-daerah biar saja Kementerian Keuangan. Nanti orang-orang saya di daerah akan monitor SPPG secara berkala. Jadi saya punya alat dan saya bisa kontrol anggarannya,” terangnya.
Jika ditemukan penyimpangan, hasil evaluasi akan diserahkan ke BGN. Purbaya yakin keterlibatan Kemenkeu membuat pengawasan lebih independen.
“Pengawasannya akan lebih terstruktur. Yang mengawasi bukan BGN sendiri, jadi kita enggak akan kongkalikong. Kalau yang mengawasi bagian sendiri kan ada conflict of interest,” ujarnya.
Terakhir, Kemenkeu juga siap membantu penguatan SDM BGN, khususnya dalam pengelolaan keuangan.
